Yesterday, International Women’s Day, was a great day. I was asked by Hofstra’s PRSSA Society to put on a small fashion demo, which of course I was thrilled about! I even did a give away to shop at Zara, the winners are seen in the picture above. I feel it’s important to inspire and share and I hope everyone who attended took away some piece of advice or a great shopping tip they can use.
When I was showing these students my inspiration for being well dressed, I used this style board I pieced together. It’s also the inspiration page under my about me. Well it’s no longer a secret and everyone know’s I’m a huge Victoria Beckham/Posh fan.
TIPS/ADVICE:
- For women’s suits, I highly recommend shopping express’s collection as well as their new petite collection. The petite collection has a little something for us smaller women in the world.
- Functionality is a theme for Made Modern and they can provide stunning outfits for women who need business/business casual wear.
- Zara, H&M and Topshop are all great places to get basics (tops + pants) to build outfits from for both men and women.
I had so many questions about stylish and sensible shoes, I knew I was coming home to pick out a handful that works in the business world. Click to shop!
All in all, yesterday was a great day and like I told all the students, any questions you have or help you need, feel free to ask, I’m just an email away!
