That’s a wrap for my first, and definitely not last, New York Fashion Week. I was honored to be invited and I’m excited to see what’s next, but first a re-cap. My first event, which was not day 1, but day 3, was Olivia Palermo’s new collection launch at Banana Republic. The show was on its way until a protestor decided to upset the mood and ruin the show. Banana Republic had a beautiful display and a great show going. Listen up fur protestors, Olivia’s collection has no fur…so what was your reasoning for being so rude? My advice to fashion protestors, get a new hobby….please. Moving on, Olivia’s collection was still displayed inside the store and she had sleek designs, and one red coat that I’ve got my eye on (don’t be surprised if you see in it on here soon.) From what i’ve learned over the years, Banana Republic is known for modern/minimalist looks, so I wore, this silk shirt, distressed denim, suede pumps and my Catherine Maladrino bag. My bag isn’t her website anymore, but its part of her floral collection, so you can find a lot of similar ones. All in all, it was an exciting first experience, it had fashion, stars, drama, photo ops and much more. Stay tuned for the rest of my posts and all my other outfits! Also, if you’re wondering what I’m looking up at in my last picture here, that makes two of us…Happy Thursday!
