NYFW⎮Part 2

DSC_0722

Safe to say I’m already missing the excitement of NYFW, but I’ve still got tons of outfits and experiences to share! This outfit I threw together the night before I left and it was all pieces I had already owned! Here is some insight to how this avant-garde look came to life. The high-low romper was a a gift, a friend of mine passed it along days before fashion week. The boots I bought for fall and I’d have never thought to wear them with a romper that had a long back, but who are we if we don’t try new things? The jacket, ahh the jacket I bought in college from Bebe Stores, and to be honest, I couldn’t even begin to tell you how I afforded this jacket. Being a broke college student, its difficult to buy expensive pieces, while it was only $300, I’d say that’s a bit of a splurge, but here we are years later and it made it to my blog, so maybe it was worth it. I also wore this jacket to post college job interviews–imagine me wearing a red suit jacket, while every other candidate wore black/navy. The bag is  Henri Bendel, its a party clutch, but has a metal chain also. While it’s extremely hard for me to tag items that aren’t new, I tried my best below. I’d also like thank Life Water for the chic sketch of those outfit, its nice to know that fashion is still valued as art! Parts 3 +4 to fashion week coming up next! Xoxo

Henri Bendel Party Clutch (similar)  ⎮  Red Suit Jacket ⎮  Tan Suede OTK boots  ⎮ Romper (it’s with great sadness to say I’m unable to find this romper, but stay tuned I’m working on something special in the weeks to come with a boutique that has amazing pieces similar to this one)
